Embark on a day trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech. Discover Berber culture as you explore the countryside. Ride down winding trails and enjoy magnificent views of the falls on a boat tour.

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel or Riad. Then, take the road to North Africa’s most captivating waterfalls, located approximately 160 km from Marrakech. On arrival at the village of Ouzoud, admire the view of the waterfalls which plunge into the pool located 110 m below. Follow your local guide through olive groves, and learn about Berber culture. Take the opportunity to admire the views and take photos. Continue following a network of trails to a viewpoint where you can purchase fresh orange juice. Board a traditional boat and embark on a short walk on the basin at the foot of the waterfalls. Then, enjoy a late Berber lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the falls. and during the warmer months, some visitors choose to swim in the pools formed by the cascading water, offering a refreshing break.

After lunch, you’ll have free time to further explore or take a swim in the natural pools beneath the falls. Around 4 pm, you will begin the drive back to Marrakech, arriving by early evening, around 7 pm.

The weather in Morocco is more on the mild side during Spring and Autumn (from March to May and from September to November respectively). For these reasons, the temperatures could be ranging anywhere from 11° to 32°C. Winter usually lasts from December to February, with a relatively low-temperature range (7° to 21°C). You should also expect to see snowfall in Morocco’s mountainous regions. As for Summer (from June to August), temperatures can land anywhere between 19°C and 40°C in the middle of the day.
