Moroccan Sahara 3 days 2 nights tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with camel rides and night in Merzouga desert camp (erg Chebbi dunes), including Ait ben haddou kasbah, Ouarzazate, Sekoura, Rosses valley, Dades gorges, Todgha gorges, Rissani, Erg chebbi dunes, Daraa valley, Agdez and the high atlas mountains.

Itinerary

Your travel to Merzouga dunes Moroccan Sahara begins with a drive across the high atlas mountains. Ascend through the 7,413-foot (2,260-meter) Tizi N’Tichka Pass and see beautiful villages suspended on the flanks of the mountains Stop for lunch and tour in the World heritage site of Ait Ben haddou. (This famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films.) Pass through Ouarzazate and continue towards Skoura oisis with it’s authentic 17 century kasbah, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs ,the Valley of Roses and the Dades valley .Overnight in dades gorges.

Early morning, and after the breakfast departure to Erfoud. Berber villages are scattered along the way, We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and the we continue to Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes in Merzouga, we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in nomad tents.

You should also expect to see snowfall in Morocco’s mountainous regions. As for Summer (from June to August), temperatures can land anywhere between 19°C and 40°C in the middle of the day.
